Cavallo Agency LLC is committed to making cavalloagency.com (the “Website”) usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation. We build websites for a living, and we hold our own to the same standard we recommend to our clients.
Our Goal: WCAG 2.2 Level AA
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
We consider accessibility an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We review new pages and features against these guidelines as we build them.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML. Pages use meaningful headings in a logical order, landmark regions (header, navigation, main content, footer), lists, and native form controls so assistive technologies can interpret the structure of each page.
- Keyboard navigation. All navigation, menus, links, buttons, and forms can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the main navigation, and interactive elements show a visible focus indicator.
- Reduced motion. The Website respects your operating system’s “reduce motion” setting. When it is turned on, scroll animations and transitions are minimized and components that advance automatically, such as carousels and testimonial sliders, do not start on their own.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images have descriptive alternative (alt) text that conveys what the image communicates. Purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Color and contrast. We design body text and interactive elements to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds, and we do not rely on color alone to convey meaning.
- Forms. Form fields have visible labels, required fields are identified, and error messages are presented in text. Our spam protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which in most cases runs without asking you to solve a visual puzzle.
- Readable layouts. Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content, pages reflow on small screens without horizontal scrolling, and long-form content is set in a comfortable reading column.
- Plain-text alternatives. Every main page on the Website is also available as plain markdown (for example, /privacy-policy.md), which some people find easier to read with assistive technology or text-only tools. An index of these files is available at /llms.txt.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are aware of and working on include:
- Small accent text. Some small decorative labels set in our copper accent color may fall below the recommended contrast ratio on light backgrounds. These labels repeat information available elsewhere on the page.
- Third-party content. Some features rely on services we do not fully control, including Cloudflare Turnstile security checks and links to external client websites, social media platforms, and documents. We choose providers with accessibility in mind, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of their content.
- Portfolio imagery. Screenshots of client websites in our portfolio are images. Their alt text describes the project, but text within those screenshots is not individually readable by screen readers.
- Older content. Some older articles and case studies may contain images or formatting that predate our current review process. We are updating them over time.
If any of these limitations prevents you from getting information you need, please contact us and we will provide it in another format.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Website, need content in an alternative format, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:

Assessment Approach
We assess the accessibility of the Website through self-evaluation during design and development, including keyboard-only testing, screen reader spot checks, automated accessibility scanning, and contrast checks against our design system.
